ECO SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

The project will be implemented in the Šibenik-Knin County and the target groups are employed and unemployed members of the Ecological Association "Krka" Knin and MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o and socially vulnerable people from Knin and its surroundings.

Eco Social Entrepreneurs

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The project will be implemented in the Šibenik-Knin County and the target group are employed and unemployed members of the Ecological Association "Krka" Knin and MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o and will engage in economic activity in accordance with the principles of social entrepreneurship. The final beneficiaries will be citizens and tourists who will have the opportunity to use the existing and new services of the social enterprise "MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o."

ACTIVITIES / ELEMENTS

Preparation of social and entrepreneurial activities (business and marketing plan)
Strengthening the capacity of new and existing legal entities and employed and unemployed members of the
association "Krka" and MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o. (education and training)
Implementation of social and entrepreneurial activities (purchase of equipment, production of tourist packages, free use of services for socially vulnerable groups)
Activities for spreading the concept of social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Croatia (lectures, workshops, info campaign)
Project promotion

PROJECT GOAL

Create preconditions for sustainable development of rural areas in the Šibenik-Knin County and improve socially responsible economic activities by strengthening the capacity and increasing the knowledge and skills of employed and unemployed members of the association "Krka" and MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o. to perform socio-entrepreneurial activities.

EXPECTED RESULTS

MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o. has started its business according to socio-entrepreneurial principles
Employed and unemployed members of the association "Krka" and MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o. will increase knowledge and skills and strengthen the capacities of legal entities through participation in education and training
Procured equipment for the implementation of social entrepreneurial activities
Designed 4 package tours
Enabled free use of services to socially vulnerable groups from Knin area (2 times a week for 18 months during the project)
Extended idea of the concept of social entrepreneurship
Promotion of the project and activities of MARUNUŠA j.d.o.o.
